Language Requirements

Since almost all lectures are held in Slovak, good knowledge of the Slovak language is an essential requirement for a successful term or year abroad. Students may find it helpful to attend a Slovak language course before or during the Academic Year. The University Language Department runs courses and drop-in sessions throughout the year. There are more and more courses taught also in English or German. The Erasmus students are provided with lectures in foreign languages (mainly English or German) ensured by academic tutors who take individual care and tutoring.

List of courses for Erasmus students

The list of lectures that are available in English and are intended for Erasmus students can be found here.

It can happen that not all courses open at the beginning of the academic year. In this case, you can use part of your online Learning agreement "Changes to Learning Agreement".
