Entry of Foreigners (Erasmus students, teachers and staffs) during the Extraordinary Situation

  

The conditions for entry into the Slovak Republic from 31 May 2021 are regulated by a decree of the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic

Rules for arriving from green countries
The rules apply to people who have visited only countries included in the list of green states in the last 14 days. If you also visited countries in the red or blacklist during this period, follow the "worse" country rules.

At the latest immediately upon entering the territory of the Slovak Republic, persons are obliged to register and be able to prove themselves upon request by a confirmation of registration upon entry also during their stay in the territory of the Slovak Republic.

If you enter the territory of the Slovak Republic by air, you are also required to fill out an electronic passenger search form.

If someone develops symptoms of COVID-19 after returning from abroad, he is obliged to report it to his general practitioner or pediatrician; if he does not have a doctor in the territory of the Slovak Republic, he shall report it to the doctor of the relevant self-governing region

Quarantine
Home quarantine or quarantine accommodation is ordered, which ends with a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19 or a negative antigen test for COVID-19, and laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19 can be performed as early as first day of isolation.

If the person does not take the test, the quarantine ends in the case of an asymptomatic course by the completion of the 14th day. Domestic quarantine also applies to all persons in the same household, it ends at the same time as the isolation of a person who came from abroad.
Exceptions
vaccinated subjects (14 days after the second dose of mRNA vaccine, 28 days after the first dose of vector vaccine, or 14 days after the first dose of any vaccine if administered within 180 days of passing COVID-19)
persons who overcame COVID-19 no more than 180 days ago
persons under 18 years of age.

Rules for coming from red countries
The rules apply to people who have visited one of the countries on the list of red states in the last 14 days and at the same time have not visited any of the countries on the list of black states.

Quarantine

Quarantine is ordered at home or in a quarantine accommodation facility, which ends with the receipt of a negative RT-PCR test, which may not be performed until the eighth day after return.

If the person does not take the test, the quarantine ends in the case of an asymptomatic course by the completion of the 14th day

Persons who came from the "red" country and were vaccinated or overcame COVID-19 must undergo domestic quarantine - this does not only apply to vaccinated people who live in Slovakia and work in the "red" country or vice versa.

Quarantine also applies to all persons in the same household, it ends at the same time as the isolation of a person who came from abroad, but persons from the common household do not have to go to domestic quarantine in the case of:
