Below you can read the requirements for the programme at the Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín.
General Requirements
There are no special restrictions on admission for applicants participating in the Erasmus program.
The Erasmus exchange students can apply only if their home university sign the Erasmus Bilateral Agreement
with Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín (hereinafter TnUAD). Erasmus students are nominated and selected by their home university.
Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín reserves the right to reject applications submitted after these dates as the applicants may have difficulties in finding accommodation within the university campus facilities and may have limited options of courses.
Application Procedures
The Erasmus students are required to fill the standard ECTS forms and sent ONLY ELECTRONICALLY to: erasmus@tnuni.sk (scanned versions are accepted):
2. Online Learning Agreement (OLA) - www.learning-agreement.eu
3. Accommodation Form (if you want to be accommodated in one of the university dormitories)
Having been signed by the home faculty and university coordinator, students send the application
off to the institutional coordinator of Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín.
Confirmation of Acceptance
The Erasmus Centre at Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín will straightway send approved documents to the Erasmus coordinator of the particular home university:
Registration
At the beginning of each academic year all Erasmus students must formally submit their registration at TnUAD. Before arrival to TnUAD the students must contact the Institutional Erasmus Coordinator (erasmus@tnuni.sk).
Language Requirements
Since almost all lectures are held in Slovak, good knowledge of the Slovak language is an essential requirement for a successful term or year abroad. Students may find it helpful to attend a Slovak language course before or during the Academic Year. The University Language Department runs courses and drop-in sessions throughout the year. There are more and more courses taught also in English or German. The Erasmus students are provided with lectures in foreign languages (mainly English or German) ensured by academic tutors who take individual care and tutoring.
List of courses for Erasmus students
The list of lectures that are available in English and are intended for Erasmus students can be found here.
It can happen that not all courses open at the beginning of the academic year. In this case, you can use part of your online Learning agreement "Changes to Learning Agreement".
